The Lapin Sauté opened its doors in 1989 and will be celebrating soon its 15th anniversary. Formerly the Yole Restaurant, the Lapin Sauté is just a wink away from the Cochon Dingue, located right across the street.

The cosy atmosphere of this beautiful turn-of-the-century home makes visitors feel that they have walked into a homey country inn.

The warmth of the fireplace and intimate atmosphere of its 32 seats have made this little restaurant a big part of life for Quebecers and tourists alike in the heart of Old Quebec.

A distinctive menu with grilled meats, gratins and rabbit specialities - found in pies, conserves and sauces.

The Lapin Sauté won the "International Cuisine - General Public Category" prize ("Grand public catégorie cuisine internationale") at the 1999, 2000 and 2001 Restauration Awards, as well as the "Neighbourhood Bistro - General Public Category" ("Grand public catégorie bistro de quartier") at this same event in 2001.
